This painting is inspired by incredible views of the milky-way seen as part of alpine mountainous landscape that can be enjoyed in remote wilderness areas designated as dark sky places across Colorado and beyond.
This painting is inspired by a vivid view of the milky way above Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. The night sky is one of my favorite themes to paint. I love exploring the stars and colors of the night sky set against our incredible mountains.

Painting sooooo big was AMAZING! This painting is inspired by a bright, star filled night above Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. The atmosphere feels cool and crisp, and the milky way is clearly visible above the many layers of surrounding mountains.
