This painting is inspired by a vibrant sunset in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado where the atmosphere feels magical and the mountain are aglow, appearing in a gradient of a beautiful greenish/bluish shade. This colorful landscape helps to bring me back to colorful Summer nights camping in the mountains, being surrounded by the most magical vistas and colors.
This set of paintings has been inspired by incredible Summertime views of Colorado’s high country wildflower meadows in and magical nigh skies. My birthday is at the height of the wildflower season up in the high altitude meadows. In the middle of July the wild color displays that line the mountain sides are breath taking. ...
This painting is inspired by a night sky full of stars above the red rock country of Southwestern US. But it is also inspired by three other paintings I painted a few months prior. When I lined up the three together, I immediately wanted to paint a panoramic combination of the three which have all sold as well. They are seen right below here.
