New Art for the Upcoming Autumn Art Festivals
These were some of the new paintings I created for Autumn Art Festivals. I loved seeing them all together bursting with color and the magic of the Mountain West!

This painting inspired by a colorful, pomegranate colored sunset over layers of green mountains and a flower meadow in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
In early September, I completed my newest mosaic sculpture “The Passage”. It is a 7ft tall hand-sculpted door covered in a handmade stained glass mosaic I created with accents of handmade ceramic tiles I also created in the studio. The flower motifs are inspired by the Polish Folk Art ‘Wycinanki’. Below you can see my initial concept for the project. The color palette changed but most of the project stayed true to my vision.
This painting inspired by a colorful, beaming sunset over layers of blue mountains a beautiful scene from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
This painting is inspired by a vividly, bright and warm sunset in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains when the landscape feels almost ablaze with warm hues.
This painting is inspired by a starry night sky above the San Juan Mountains of Southern Colorado during the fall foliage season.
This painting is inspired by a vividly, bright pink sunset set against the blue, violet and pink Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
This painting is inspired by a starry night sky above the Red Mountains in Silverton, Colorado.
This painting is inspired by the first dusting of snow in mid September when the Aspens start turning yellow at the foot of Colorado’s high peaks. One particular inspirational moment that stands out in my memory is camping at Little Molas Lake on Autumn Equinox, the month before giving birth to my first son. The leaves were bursting with yellow, yet there was still some green around and all of a sudden it began to snow. It was one of the most magical autumn moments to date.
Painting sooooo big was AMAZING! This painting is inspired by a bright, star filled night above Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. The atmosphere feels cool and crisp, and the milky way is clearly visible above the many layers of surrounding mountains.
